Days 22/23 - 24 Days of Christmas

So close, I can hear the sleigh now. Hope you have enjoyed the tracks. I’ll find one more for tomorrow but can’t guarantee it will be good. Or I might just Rick-roll you instead. Guess you’ll have to check back to find out.

And to all those who celebrate holidays other than Christmas, Happy Holidays to you, I just don’t have any Hanukkah or Kwanzaa music to share.

Day 21 - 24 Days of Christmas

Made it just in time to call this a day 21 song. As far as I know, this is an original by BDM user and Best Cover contest winner, Andrew Whitman.

Nice job Andrew, thanks for another great add to the Christmas playlist! Leave your comments for Andrew below.

Day 18 - 24 Days of Christmas

We’re 75% of the way through our 24 days and just hoping we’ve got enough good Christmas music to make it. Otherwise you’ll be stuck with Elvis’ Blue Christmas and/or John Denver & the Muppets.

The day 18 entry is another submission from a faithful BDM user. Good on ya, Steve. Upon hearing it though I had to wonder, am I the only person on the planet that didn’t know Lisa Loeb was still making music?

Song: Jingle Bells

Day 17 - 24 Days of Christmas

Some of you are a little young to know who Wham! was (as well as what an album is) but Make it Big made many spins as a young’n on my turntable. Unfortunately, I never had the privilege of jamming their Christmas hit Last Christmas until I was much older and wise enough to not listen to - or ever admit to listening to - Wham!

I mean umm, Wham! sucked, I would never listen to that rubbish.

Either way, James Dean Bradfield does a nice rendition that’s been around on YouTube for a while. The audio is a good one for the playlist.

Requests

Had some requests this week to see if anyone has tabbed anything from This Warm Christmas or any of the newer Donavon Frankenreiter stuff. Get those pens/papers out and get to work!
