It’s not that I don’t love you, it’s the fact that in the last 5 weeks I have been busier with work than I have been in years. That’s a good thing, for me. Not so much for you.

Quick notes to all who have contacted:

• The links to all of the 24 Days songs were set to expire after one month. Some day when I get the opportunity I will re-up them and send out new links.
• Thanks to the suggestions for new artists to add. I will listen to your stuff and then bring it before the committee. Just not today.
• There have been several tab requests, any help would be appreciated - Numbers by G. Love, Orange Whip Groove, Zach Ashton tabs are just some off the top of my head.
• Jack - Feel free to send in your version of Banana Pancakes and I’ll get it posted with the others. Thanks for the offer.

Anybody have this? Worth picking up? I’ve heard a couple tunes from it that I dig but not sure they’re enough to garner album of the year. Bon Iver finished up at #4 just behind Vampire Weekend and Sigur Rós.

I sent out an email to all of the participants describing how to collect on the goods but have only heard from about three folks.

I BCC’d everybody and am thinking that the email may have been caught up in spam filters. If you have not heard from me (and you submitted to the contests) shoot me a note or comment below and I’ll get you caught up to speed.

Nothing yet for Best Story. Any got some great anecdotes from the tour? Past tour? Overheard in a coffee shop but not even sure if its completely true? Send them in!

Got a few votes here and there for some contests. From comments and emails its almost split on ‘Stories from the road’ and ‘Best cover.’

Contest #1: Stories from the road - Write up your best story/tale from the most current Jack tour (including the world tour from the spring). Post it in the comments below or email it in. We’ll collect them all and set them to a vote.

Contest #2: Best cover (Jack or other bdm artist) - Video or audio. For video, host it on Vimeo or YouTube and then post the link in the comments. For audio, email us and we’ll host it here.

We’ll try to compile and keep track of all submissions in one general area. Users to vote and top three in each category will get free schwag. Submit your own stuff. Don’t go to YouTube and find some cover done by somebody else. Keep it legit.
